Roger Budd Company History & Mission
The Roger Budd Company’s history of real estate investment in South Georgia goes back 4 generations to 1927. That year, Tom Hewitt, Roger Budd Sr.’s father in law, moved to Lowndes County. Tom had a successful automobile auction, auto sales and service, horse and pony auction, auto wrecking company, and restaurant on South Patterson St. He was an entrepreneur. Roger Budd Sr. was stationed at Moody Air Force Base during World War II. After the war, he became a State Representative and owner of Roger Budd Chevrolet and Mercedes Benz. Now the Roger Budd Company is owned and managed by Roger Budd Jr., Julie Budd, and Roger Budd III.
At Roger Budd Chevrolet, our motto was “Roger Budd Chevrolet, where the Customer is King”. This remains our motto today at the Roger Budd Company. Our goal is to be the pre-eminent real estate investment and property management company in our area. We provide excellent service at value prices. We have over 1000 tenants in our real estate portfolio – which includes shopping centers, industrial parks, commercial spaces, residential property, mobile home parks, billboards and portable signs. We have an office staff of 4 and a maintenance/construction crew of about 15. We have the size and scale to make your real estate goals a reality.
